I did it. I went to Coeur d’Alene, faced the course, and ended up completing the race in 16 hours and 33 minutes. I was so floored at the finish that I didn’t hear them say, “Taline Manassian, you are an Ironman,” but I’m told those words were spoken, and I’ll see it for myself when I get my finisher’s video! I’ll post a race report and photos as soon as I can. It was an amazing 6 days. I could not have asked for a better first Ironman experience.
Thank you all for the calls and emails throughout the weekend. Forgive me if I haven’t gotten back to you just yet, but I will soon.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! You rock! I am SO proud of you!
Yeah!!!! I heard it…. You are an Ironman. Which makes me the sister of an Ironman. =) And I hear you are looking for your next Ironman race? I am so proud of you. Can’t wait to monogram my shirt…
